"Northern Exposure"
Limited Edition Giclee Print
Numbered and Signed Unframed - 12 x 16" The summer of 2010 I was fortunate enough to visit one of the world’s best, wild brook trout fisheries, the God’s River, Manitoba. We witnessed brook trout in excess of 8lbs, cruising in the gin clear waters of the God’s. It was awe-inspiring to see wild trout thriving in an untouched and unforgiving environment. This drawing aims to depict the beauty of the brook trout and place it in the natural setting in which they thrive. ~ Pencil Drawing by Nick Laferriere $ 125

"Rainbow Release"
Limited Edition Giclee Print
Numbered and Signed Unframed Arguably one of the pound-for-pound, hardest fighting, freshwater fish - rainbow trout and steelhead are some of the most sought after gamefish by long rodders. When you hook one of these fish you can expect aerial leaps, fierce runs, and violent headshakes. When hooked in river currents you get to appreciate their power, aerodynamics and ability to move through the current effortlessly. ~ Pencil Drawing by Nick Laferriere $ 125

"Tiger Trout with Goddard Caddis"
Open Edition
Unframed 8 x 10" What happens when you hybridize a Brook Trout and a Brown Trout? You get the sterile "Tiger Trout," and they are very pissed off about it! Of all the trout I've had the pleasure of chasing, none come close to the attitude of the Tiger. Named because of the distinct vermiculations on it's flanks, these fish must give minnows nightmares. My favourite and most successful pattern was skating a Goddard on the surface of the water, simulating a Travelling Sedge. The trout would explode on it! ~ Pencil Drawing by Nick Laferriere $ 25

"Eye Spy"

Unframed 8 x 10" The fish world is an unforgiving and dangerous world. Predators eat prey every day and it's a constant battle to stay alive. This drawing depicts the two adversaries; the Northern Pike and the Walleye. ~ Pencil Drawing by Nick Laferriere $ 25
